Oshigambo High School offers education from grades 8 to grade 12. In grade 8 and 9, learners follow a curriculum that includes science, Social Science, Accounting and Languages. From grade 10 onwards, the focus shifts to Sciences and languages, which continues through to grade 12. This academic programme is designed to equip students with the knowledge and skills necessary to successfully sit for national examinations in grade 11 and 12.

Oshigambo High School was founded in 1960 by the Evangelical Lutheran Church. Since its establishment, the school has grown to be one of the leading institutions in Namibia.
In the 1980s, Oshigambo High School expanded its facilities to accommodate more students and offer a broader curriculum. The school introduced new subjects in Science, Commerce, and Social Sciences.
In 2000, the school embraced technology by integrating computers and digital learning into the curriculum. This move helped students acquire essential skills for the modern world.
In 2010, Oshigambo High School celebrated its 50th anniversary, marking five decades of excellence in education. The event was attended by alumni, educators, and leaders from across Namibia.
